Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy

8 Week Mindfulness Course

Are you suffering from stress or burnout?

Are you struggling with your mental health?

Many of us are, and according to the World Health Organisation, 1 in 4 people experienced a mental health condition at some point in their lifetime. Our lifestyle these days are such that we are constantly juggling many responsibilities and trying to balance home and work commitments. Sadly this is at a cost to our health and wellbeing.

In the workplace, huge workload and constant pressure to make quick and critical decisions can lead to increasing poor performance, exhaustion, compassion fatigue, stress, burnout, mental and physical ill-health.

Mindfulness training has been shown to be effective in physical and emotional conditions such as depression, anxiety and burnout.

Of course mindfulness is not a quick fix, or a sticking plaster; it simply offers us the opportunity to look within, to bring understanding to what is difficult, and most importantly to cultivate self-compassion.

Mindfulness training through courses such as MBCT, has been shown to:

  • Increase awareness of stress triggers and how they manifest in the body
  • Increase attention
  • Increase emotional wellbeing
  • Increase compassion towards others
  • Increase sense of personal achievement
  • Improvement in self-compassion and satisfaction with life.
  • Reduce burnout

The aim of this course is to help you cultivate skills that will improve your:

  • Wellbeing
  • Sense of balance
  • ability to regulate emotions
  • Self-compassion
  • Relationship with others
  • life-life balance!
